One has to sometimes wonder about the Wisdom of Man… According to many news reports, Tony Blair is rumoured to become a ‘Peace Envoy’ in the Middle East, at the behest of the Quartet of 4, consisting of the US, the UN, the European Union, and Russia. But Tony Blair, wasn’t he that British prime minister who co-invaded Iraq back in 2003, with his buddy George W, on false reasons? Apparently Blair was pushed forward for the envoy slot by Bush himself, which to many people in the Middle East will seem like Satan himself appointing Sauron of Mordor as his ‘peace envoy’. Not that many people in the Middle East are peace-loving Hobbits – but I’m sure you catch my drift.
