Yet another right-wing opinionmaker slams Europe for being, well, European. Fortunately, economist and Nobel prize laureate Paul Krugman sets him straight. But I fear that the damage has been done, and that the people who read the right-wing commentator’s writings by default ignore Krugman’s articles.

But you’re just plain wrong. Take this from a European: Europe does not include territory “west of the Urals”. And no, I don’t care what an American dictionary says.
