Yet another right-wing opinionmaker slams Europe for being, well, European. Fortunately, economist and Nobel prize laureate Paul Krugman sets him straight. But I fear that the damage has been done, and that the people who read the right-wing commentator’s writings by default ignore Krugman’s articles.

European Commission chairman José Manuel Barroso and Competition commissioner Peter Mandelson this week returned from their latest diplomatic mission to China — and the news they’re bringing back with them is decidedly not good.
